Premium juice brand Frobishers is set to burst onto the global on-trade market as they roll out a campaign for international expansion…
Premium juice brand Frobishers is set to burst onto the global on-trade market as they roll out a campaign for international expansion. Successfully established as one of the UK’s finest juice brands, a reinvigorated export focus has met positive support amongst key distributors.
With established export partners already secured across Northern Europe, Scandinavia and parts of the Middle East, the team at Frobishers are looking for new distributors to help them identify key emerging territories for the premium juice sector and secure their slice of the international market.
Speaking on their expansion plans, Steve Carter, sales and marketing director says;
“The UK premium soft drinks sector is growing rapidly, as operators and consumers increasingly choose 100% natural fruit juices over juice drinks with added sugar, sweeteners and flavourings. We’ve enjoyed steady sales growth in the UK, doubling our business in the last four years. We have ambitious plans for the future, and with the success we’ve already seen across Northern Europe it makes sense for us to capitalise on the global consumer trend for not from concentrate, pure, honest fruit juice. We’ve had some great support from UKTI (UK Trade & Investment), and look forward to rolling out our brand into new and exciting territories.”
Appearing this month at Gulfoods, Dubai (23 to 27 February),the world’s biggest annual foodservice, hospitality and ret
ail event, Frobishers will be showcasing their entire range of not from concentrate, pure fruit juices, including new kid on the block Cherry Juice, three smoothies and three blended juice drinks. With proven credentials in aligning exporters with new distributors to assist in sales across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, Gulfood provides a vibrant backdrop for conducting world-class international trade.
Frobishers hope to capitalise on successful in-roads already achieved in the Middle East with Dubai based Top Shelf Beverages, part of Accenture Investment, who began distributing their juices at the start of 2014. Owners of Habtor Hotels and other prestigious bars across the city, Top Shelf Brands has received its first monthly shipment of 1,500 cases and has begun to roll out the brand across its portfolio of venues.
Actively searching for further partners to facilitate expansion into Singapore, Hong Kong and the Middle East, Frobishers, working with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), are also exhibiting at two other leading global food and drinks events in 2014; Tavola in Belgium on 17 March and World Travel Catering & On-board Services in Hamburg on 8 to 10 April.
