Undeclared milk

- Sour Cream and Onion Flavour Chips (80g) – Batch code: 34624 and 34724, Best before: 31 December 2025
No illnesses or complaints have been reported to date.
Consumers who have purchased any of the affected products and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents should not consume them. Instead, they should return the product to the store for a refund.
Undeclared walnuts
In the US this week, JE Bakery 2019 LLC is voluntarily recalling its Raisin Bran Muffin x 6, due to a labelling error resulting in an undeclared walnut allergen.
The product was mislabelled and instead contains Glorious Morning Muffins, which include walnuts, a known allergen not declared on the label.
Recalled product:
- Raisin Bran Muffin x 6 – Sell by date: 02/18/2025, UPC: 0 29341-00233
The muffins were labelled under the following brands: Cub Foods, Jerrys Foods and Country Market.
No illnesses have been reported to date. However, individuals with a walnut allergy could be at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the mislabelled product.
Consumers who have purchased the affected product should not consume it but should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Undeclared almonds
Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Company LLC is voluntarily recalling one batch of its Mauna Loa Milk Chocolate Covered Macadamias snack pouches (1oz), due to the presence of undeclared almonds.
Recalled product:
- Mauna Loa Milk Chocolate Covered Macadamias snack pouches (1oz) – UPC: 0 72992 04260 3, Lot number: K4351 and Best by date: 07/2026
No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date.
Consumers who have purchased the affected product and have an almond allergy are advised not to consume the product. Instead, return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Undeclared wheat and eggs
Finally, Naturipe Value Added Fresh LLC is recalling its Berry Buddies Berries & Pancakes bento box snack packs because they contain wheat and eggs that were not declared on the label.
There were 694 cases of the recalled product distributed at Kroger and Meijer retail stores in Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, Minnesota, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Mississippi, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Recalled product:
- Berry Buddies, Berries & Pancakes bento box snack packs (2.1 oz) – Lot number: #1097901, Expiration date: 2/25/2025.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the incorrect back label was placed on the package. Because of this, the allergens of wheat and eggs were not listed on the label. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a production label changeover failure which has since been corrected.
Customers with a wheat or egg allergy or sensitivity who have purchased the affected product are urged not to consume the product and dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund.
