Food and drink is the UK’s largest remaining manufacturing sector, contributing over £28 billion a year to the economy.1 With 60 per cent of UK food and drink exports going to European Union (EU) markets, and 24.3 per cent of its workforce coming from the European Economic Area (EEA)2, there are clear, unquestionable, mutual benefits to maintaining the strongest possible ties post-March 2019.
