Family-owned in the second generation since its founding in 1967, GERSTEL is focused on developing and producing systems and solutions for chemical analysis. The main focus is on automated sample preparation and introduction for GC/MS and LC/MS. Our main customer base is in the Food-, Flavor and Beverage industries as well as Food Safety Laboratories.

As a specialist for automated sample preparation and sample introduction, GERSTEL is able to provide custom solutions, including complete solutions that include GC/MS and LC/MS with integrated software control. The innovative MAESTRO software enables intuitive control and flexible, efficient operation for R&D or routine laboratories. Your daily analysis tasks are set up using just a few mouse-clicks – or even automatically using sample barcodes to set up the analysis sequence.
GERSTEL has experienced steady growth over the past more than 50 years resulting in several relocations to ever-larger facilities. Our current, energy-efficient headquarters at No. 1, Eberhard-Gerstel-Platz in Mülheim an der Ruhr were inaugurated in 2007. With around 200 employees in Germany, the U.S., Japan, Singapore and Switzerland, and with a global network of distributors, GERSTEL is able to deliver and support our unique solutions world-wide.
