In our latest instalment of Recall Roundup we look at what food products have been recalled in the last week, including granola containing small stones.
Foreign objects
In the UK, Rude Health is recalling its Low Sugar Granola Almond and Hazelnut as it has found the product “may contain small stones”.
The recalled product comes in a 400g pack size. Best before dates included in the recall are: 17 April 2024, 11 May 2024 and 12 June 2024.
Rude Health has said that point of sale notices will be displayed in stores that sell the product to explain to customers what they should do if they have purchased it.
Advice states that the product should not be eaten, instead it can be returned to the store of purchase for a full refund (with or without the receipt).
Pathogens
Elsewhere in the UK, Iceland Foods is recalling the Cathedral City Cheese & Ham Gratin as Listeria monocytogenes has been detected in the product.
