The action is being taken because of the potential presence of a small puck shaped disc in one pot of yogurt from the batch…
Müller Yoghurt & Desserts is recalling a batch of its 4 pack Müller Kids Corner Butterflies Strawberry yoghurt.
The company says this is a precautionary measure. The action is being taken because of the potential presence of a small puck shaped disc in one pot of yoghurt from the batch. The disc is pink in colour and measures 3cm by 1cm and is used to test systems on the company’s production line which are in place to protect product quality.
The batch was manufactured at the Müller Yoghurt & Desserts facility in Market Drayton, Shropshire and with the exception of the single pot which contains the disc, the company stresses that all other pots from the batch are unaffected and entirely safe to eat.
No other Müller Yoghurt & Desserts products are known to be affected.
The FSA has issued a Product Information Recall Notice.
The product being recalled is:
- Product: 4 pack Müller Kids Corner Butterflies
- Brand: Müller Kids Corner
- Pack size: 4x135g
- Best Before: 27.4.16
The company says this is an isolated incident, and an extensive investigation by Müller Yoghurt & Desserts Quality Team is under way.
