In the latest instalment of Recall Roundup (7-13 March 2025), New Food highlights recent food and beverage recalls in the UK and US.

Undeclared milk
In the UK this week, TK Maxx is recalling Lokumella Mini Pistachio Bars due to the presence of an undeclared allergen. The recalled bars contain undeclared milk, which could cause an allergic reaction. The product was sold in TK Maxx and Homesense stores between January and March 2025.
Recalled product:
- Lokumella Mini Pistachio Bars
- Product codes: 758612, 758664
Consumers who purchased the product and have a milk allergy should not eat it. Instead, they are advised to return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund or replacement.
Elevated or deficient levels of nutrients
In the US this week, ADM Animal Nutrition, a division of ADM, is recalling specific pelleted animal feed products because they may contain elevated levels of copper or lower-than-represented levels of zinc, which could be harmful to cattle.
Potential impacts:
- Chronic copper toxicity: Symptoms may include anorexia, abdominal pain, depression, lethargy, diarrhea and dehydration.
- Zinc deficiency: Possible effects include reduced feed intake, lower feed efficiency and slowed growth.
There are 33 affected lot numbers in this recall. All of the listed products, except for GROFAST32, have elevated copper levels. GROFAST32 has lower-than-represented zinc levels.
Customers who purchased any of the recalled products should immediately stop using it and return it to their distributor or directly to ADM for a full replacement or refund.
Undeclared peanut, soy, sesame, and wheat
