UK recalls
Undeclared milk and sulphites
Asda is recalling Asda Simple To Cook Asian Inspired Pork Belly Slices because the product may contain milk and sulphites which are not mentioned on the label. This poses a health risk to those with allergies or intolerances to milk or milk constituents and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites. Some packs have been mispacked with Asda Simple To Cook Tomato & Mozzarella Pork Meatballs.

US recalls
Choking hazard for children
Gerber Products Company has issued a second recall of Gerber Soothe N Chew Teething Sticks due to a potential choking hazard for babies and young children. The recall was originally issued on 31 January 2025, but a second announcement has been made due to reports of recalled products still being available for sale in some stores and online. In addition to the recall, the product has been discontinued.
The recalled products include multiple variants, and the company urges consumers to stop using them immediately.

Potential Listeria monocytogenes
Harvest NYC Inc. is recalling Enoki Mushrooms (200g packages) due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause severe, sometimes fatal infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
Healthy individuals may experience short-term symptoms, including fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhoea. For pregnant women, infection can result in miscarriage or stillbirth.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
