Paul Temple
Farmer & Board Member, AHDB
Paul is a third generation tenant farmer on a mixed arable and beef farm. The farm is in the process of moving to No-till crop establishment and with cattle being used in a variety of environmental management schemes. Having been a past NFU vice president and heavily involved in EU farming he is now a main board member for the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, chairing the UK Cereals and Oilseeds sector. He is driven by a fascination for science that saw involvement with the UK GM crop trial, setting up the European Farmers Biotech Forum and now involved with the Global Farmers network. His primary driver is making practical sense of sustainability knowing the next generation will be his judge.
